Ingredients to make Shrimp and Tilapia Ceviche:

 2 fresh tilapia fillets

 500 grams of precooked Shrimp

 1 unit of large red onion

 1 teaspoon ground ginger

 1 teaspoon dried oregano

 1 pinch of red pepper

 15 grams of fresh coriander

 4 units of Lemons

 1 unit of Avocado

 1 pinch of salt

 1 pinch of black pepper

 1 pinch of garlic paste

How to make Shrimp and Tilapia Ceviche:

The first step in making shrimp ceviche is to pre-list the ingredients.

Cut the fish into small squares, take them to a plastic bowl and add the lemon juice. The idea is that the fish is marinated in this juice, so we use a number of lemons so that the fish is totally submerged.

Add the shrimp and the red onion, cut into feathers or small squares. Cover the container with plastic wrap or vinipel and reserve the ceviche in the fridge or refrigerator for approximately 20-30 minutes.

After the resting time, remove the container from the fridge and add the red pepper, oregano, ginger, garlic paste (if you wish) and salt to taste. Mix the ingredients well.

Add the avocado in medium squares and continue mixing the ingredients of the fish ceviche.

Before serving, add the finely chopped cilantro as shown in the photo. This is always the last ingredient added to prevent it from rusting.

Serve the shrimp and tilapia ceviche adding, if you like, a little toasted corn to give the recipe a crunchy touch. Accompany it with green banana chips and enjoy.
